Meet Dinu, founder of Flower Story Events and floral designer.

Flowers, with their fragile beauty can bring such joy and happiness and sometimes even make the darkest times bearable. I’ve always been drawn to creating floral displays, using flowers and other bits and pieces found from the nature around me. It’s been my preferred medium of self-expression and a great source of pleasure. Growing up among the woodlands and paddy fields, roaming freely with my sisters in the lush green surroundings, I always felt a close bond with nature. Even as a young girl I used to make arrangements with wildflowers and plants to decorate my home.

Since becoming a full-time mum to my two lovely girls, I had to say goodbye to my career. It has given me a second chance to re-evaluate my priorities and find some time to invest in making my dream a reality, by learning to be a professional florist. It all started as a hobby but now many moons later, it has become my passion to help many couples live out their dream wedding.

I connect with my clients as they are my friends. I love making my clients feel special through my work. It is such an honour to be trusted to create something for your special occasion that is often one of the best and most memorable day of your life.
